WELCOME TO THE HOGHTON PLAYERS OFFICIAL WEBSITE

The Hoghton Players is an amateur dramatics group from the village of Hoghton, near Preston, in Lancashire. We look to perform at least 2 plays per year to suit all tastes.

Whether you are due to watch one of our performances for the first time or, like many, you are returning to watch us again, you are very welcome and we would like to thank everyone who has been involved over the years and to all of our supporters across the country.

Our dear friend Brian Hoyle passed away on Thursday 16th November 2023.

He was a long-standing dedicated member of The Hoghton Players

& served on the committee for many years.

Brian often performed on stage and also successfully directed many of our productions & along with his wife Joyce, were our efficient bartenders.

He will be sadly missed and remembered with great affection.

Thank you Brian for so many wonderful memories ❤️
